内容如下： Container Interchange Incentive Port of Los Angeles&Long Beach DearZIM Customer, In light of the continuing congestion at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach,ZIM Integrated Shipping Services will immediately implement a Container Interchange Incentive payment in order to improve in cargo fluidity and velocity in those ports. An Interchange Incentive of $200 will be paid for each laden ZIM dry-van/container removed from West Basin Container Terminal within four (4) days after discharge (i.e.. within Tariff Free Time).The Interchange Incentive is effective for any pick-up on or after December 13,2021payment will be made directly to the over-the-road haulier / trucker. ZIM Integrated Shipping Services is committed to improving service to its Customers and will continue to identify solutions that will help mitigate the impact of market changes and congestion at the Ports of Los Angeles and LongBeach.To that endwe also maintain a dedicated interchange lane for pick-up of laden containers at West Basin Container Terminal and truckers may make pick up appointments at the pedestal for ZIM Expedited Cargoes(i.e..no pre-made appointment for pick-up is required). A list of Frequently Asked Questions(below)provide details for hauliers / truckers with respect to invoicing and payment processes related to ZIM's Interchange Incentive.
